Dan Collins
I am originally from Leeds but spent many years teaching English in various far flung corners of the world. I now teach English to international students at Leeds University.
I've written one 'urban gothic comedy horror' novel set in Leeds in 1992, called 'Beneath the Dark Arches'. Currently, I am working on a piece of historical fiction, again set in Leeds, about Louis Le Prince, purported to have made the first ever moving film on Leeds Bridge in 1888. The working title is 'The Persistence of Vision'.
I also enjoy writing short stories, poetry and lyrics, and spend some time dabbling in art and music, to keep the creativity flowing.
